Outsourcing Helps Build your Voiceover Business
Okay – so I just wasted an hour trying to figure out Publisher so I could be creative with my updated voiceover specific resume. And then, light bulb! OUTSOURCE it, silly girl! I had a brainstorm about a woman I used to work with who is retired now but still LOVES using Publisher and is super creative with it. I gave her a call and not only was she happy to just hear from me she jumped at the chance to work on it for me. Voila! I don’t know who originally said the following statement, but it is true: “work smarter, not harder”! There are all kinds of things that can be outsourced to improve your efficiency.
Yeah, I know, it’s a scary prospect for some of us, trusting our business, our livelihood to a stranger. There are all kinds of virtual assistant sites out there now that you can choose from to find someone to help you. But don’t forget about the people you know. People you used to work with. Friends. Family members. That might make it easier to make that initial leap into the outsourcing world. Yes, it will cost some money, but think of what you could gain in time to do work on building your business. And building your business means increasing your income.
